While you are eating, you don't have to finish the big portions on your plate. Just eat the smallest portion that will satisfy your hunger and don't think that you always need to finish everything.
Stay away from frying. Even though frying is the easiest way to cook, there are other healthier methods like boiling, steaming, roasting, baking and poaching. Just try as much as you can to stay away from fried foods.
