Someone once said that, when you stop learning, stop listening, stop looking and asking questions, then it means that your life has stopped! Don't you agree?

Well I would say that anyone who chooses to stop learning is basically telling the world that he or she has had enough-enough good things of life, enough knowledge, enough experiences, enough relationships, and enough growth.

The truth is, once we choose to stop learning, much of the knowledge and understanding that we have gained and utilised or shared begins to become irrelevant and obsolete- leaving us empty and depressed, because we have lost touch of the very essence of living.

We have the choice this coming year to simply exist, or to learn and to grow and shine. And if we keep our eyes, heart, and mind open to absorbing new and exciting answers from the world around us- asking questions, listening for answers, searching for truth and understanding- then this coming year will certainly have the potential of being our best year ever.

Have you written down your dreams and aspirations and declarations yet? It is very important you do so NOW! By so, you will have a vision to soar with in the coming year! See you in 2017!

Whether we like it or not, our children are watching us!

You can dole out as much advice as you want, but your personal conduct makes a more lasting impression than your words.'The number one way human beings learn is through imitation and copy,'says Fay. If you want your child to be honest, make sure you practice honesty. If you want your child to be polite, let her see your best manners, at home and in public.

The other day, a little girl of about 7 years of age bumped into me, and the stuff I was holding fell over the whole place. Her mother held her and walked away without saying sorry. I watched this woman walk away with her child without telling her to say sorry to the "stranger" and I felt bad for the mother. What kind of example is she teaching her daughter? Your answer is as good as mine.

So let is be role models to our children. Because the measure we give them now (good or bad) is the measure that we will receive from them- in the nearest future!

With a new year just around the corner, this is the ideal time to ask ourselves, "How am I going to approach the next year of my life?" The coming year is a blank canvas, waiting for us to choose what we want to create on it- the lessons, the images, the mediums, the colors, the textures, the strokes, the milestones, the achievements, the dreams and so much more, because we have the ability to call forth whatever we desire to. And with this knowledge, it is important that we truly recognize that there is no need to emulate our past-the ways we'd done things before may not be how we wish to do so now, so we can have a more effective life. And with the multitude of new things ahead of us- decisions to make and tasks to undertake, if we simply try to meet the expectations of those around us, then how can we expect to ever grow or excel? Time to reflect and come up with a plan!

Being different is a small part of being authentic, as it embraces one's uniqueness. This alone, however, does not elevate us above those around us. If we truly wish to stand out from the crowd, we have to be "outstanding."

Being outstanding might not really be easy, especially when your efforts seem to be going towards something that the world feels will not come naturally to you. In such instances, it can be easy to get frustrated or discouraged when we see very little progress for all our efforts when it obviously comes more easily for others.

That is why It is important to realize, however, to focus on what really matters- the quality of work you do and not bother yourself about how much effort others put forth. If yoy want to be outstanding, you must first believe in something- a revelation of who you truly are and in the one who called you- GOD ALMIGHTY! If not, you will keep trying hard without results.

Wishing you all an extraordinary 2017

Christmas reminds us that we are here on this planet for something greater than just ourselves. And when we choose to consider the wants and needs of others this season, we are taking part in the beautiful miracle that is being truly human.

Our LORD, JESUS CHRIST told us that the two most important commandments in life are to love God and others- both of which instruct us to direct our love outside of ourselves!

Regardless of whether Christmastime gets us thinking in terms of our spirituality or not, it most certainly is a season that touches my heart in a way that is rare in this world.

Christmas offers to each of us the opportunity to become a better person- a chance to focus more on others and less on ourselves, to reflect deeply and live abundantly, to give generously and to receive gratefully, to share joy, love, and cheer, to grow in profound and life-changing ways, and to add our own personal contributions to the season love!

Besides, Christmas presents us with the opportunity to commemorate the birth of our saviour JESUS CHRIST, and the salvation HE brought to us through HIS death and resurrection- which is truly the reason for the season- to immerse ourselves in the positive and uplifting atmosphere, filled with the love and hope and also a chance to unite with our loved ones and family, enjoy the carols and cheers- which basically is ALL THAT I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS! How about you?

A business man was late for his flight. He reached the boarding gate just before it closed. Sweating and out of breath, he scanned his boarding pass at the counter and quickly made his way to the plane.

Arriving at his seat, he greeted his companions for the next few hours: a middle-aged woman sitting at the window, and a little girl sitting on the aisle seat. After stowing his bag above, he took his place between them.

After the flight took off, he began a conversation with the little girl. She appeared to be about the same age as his daughter and was busy with her coloring book. He asked her a few usual questions, such as her age (eight), her hobbies (cartoons and drawing), as well as her favorite animal (horses are pretty, but she just loved cats). He found it strange that such a young girl would be traveling alone, but he kept his thoughts to himself and decided to keep an eye on her to make sure she was okay.

About an hour into the flight, the plane suddenly began experiencing extreme turbulence. The pilot came over the PA system and told everyone to fasten their seat belts and remain calm, as they had encountered rough weather.

Several times over the next half hour the plane made drastic dips and turns, shaking all the while. Some people began crying, and many―like the woman in the window seat―were praying intently. The man was sweating and clenching his seat as tightly as he could, and exclaim “Oh my God!” with each increasingly violent shake of the plane.

Meanwhile, the little girl was sitting quietly beside him in her seat. Her coloring book and crayons were put away neatly in the seat pocket in front of her, and her hands were calmly resting on her legs. Incredibly, she didn't seem worried all.

Then, just as suddenly as it had begun, the turbulence ended. The pilot came on a few minutes later to apologize for the bumpy ride and to announce that they would be landing soon. As the plane began its descent, the man said to the little girl, “You are just a little girl, but I have never met a braver person in all my life! Tell me, dear, how is it that you remained so calm while all of us adults were so afraid?”

Looking him in the eyes, she said, 'My father is the pilot, and he's taking me home.'

If this little girl could trust his father to get her home safely, how much more would our heavenly FATHER do for us only if we'd believe in HIM and have faith! The truth is, if we recognise the power of faith, we won't look for miracles!

While punishment is the centerpiece of discipline, yet parents tend to overlook their children’s best behaviours. Rewarding good deeds targets behaviors you want to develop in your child, not things he shouldn't be doing. This does not mean you should give your child a pound of chocolate every time he picks up a paperclip. You will get a lot more positive reinforcement than negative reinforcement when you reward your children. You can say something like ‘good job. I’m really glad you did that,’ when your child cleans his room or behaves very well.' And there are times when your child does something extraordinary that may warrant a larger reward. Start rewarding your child(ren)'s good behaviour and you will be doing them a great thing as you watch your children grow with good self esteem.

Hello Dear women in the house and all over the world! I celebrate you all. I saw this article and I thought I could share it to inspire you and to wish you all a Merry Christmas!

In honor of women!
They smile when they want to scream.

They sing when they want to cry.

They cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous.

They fight for what they believe in.

They stand up for injustice.

They don’t take “no” for an answer when they believe there is a better solution.

They go without new shoes so their children can have them.

They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.
        They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happy when they hear about a birth or a new marriage.

They are strong when they think there is no strength left.

They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart.

Women come in all sizes, in all colors and shapes.

They’ll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much they care about you.

The heart of a woman is what makes the world spin!
Women do more than just give birth.
They bring joy and hope. They give compassion and ideals.
They give moral support to their family and friends.
Women have a lot to say and a lot to give.

Have you ever bought a car and then it suddenly seemed like there were many of the same cars on the road? It is not that everyone else decided to buy the same car at the same time as you. The cars have always been there, but your mind has now been primed to notice them. So it is with opportunity and progress. If your mind is primed with the right knowledge, you will be able to recognise opportunities and take advantage of them when others can’t see them.

In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson: “Progress is the activity of today and the assurance of tomorrow.” What you do today will prepare you for a better tomorrow.

You are all you can be. Go on and be it.

There is no substitute for taking full responsibility for our own actions, words, and deeds. And the more we do so, the more we begin to see how "what we say and do comes back to us" and the easier it becomes to make the right decisions when we are faced with them.

Our history is a part of us, and always will be. But when we attempt to spend our present moments in the past, we relegate ourselves to mere bystanders. Live fully in the here and now. Remember that who you are in life, and who you are becoming, depends entirely on how you use the experiences that you have gained from your past. Did you learn and grow from them, allowing them to expand your horizons and better yourself?

Hello lovely friends, how are you all doing? 2017 is just by the corner, and I know that alot of us have made up our minds on how to start out and lead an awesome 2017- like spending more time with family and supportive friends, getting closer to GOD, keeping fit, losing weight, quitting smoking, enjoying life more, quitting drinking, getting out of debt, learning new things, helping others, reducing stress, getting a better job and so on.

Nevertheless, do not be pressured into doing something because someone else wants you to do it. Do it because you know it is the right thing to do, and that there is always a reward for doing good.

Your goals for 2017 should be something you really desire to change or achieve. Then you will be more likely to succeed. Take on this new year with a fresh enthusiasm and all the faith, courage, determination, persistence and energy you can muster. 2017 can be your best year ever. Decide to make it one. As Eleanor Roosevelt said: “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”

Gardens should be nourishing to the seeds that are planted within them; those seeds need lots of healthy nutrients, sunlight, and water to germinate, grow, and flower or produce a beneficial harvest. They also require tending to and care, such as fertilizers, pesticide, and continual weeding and trimming. Our dreams and desires are much like the season's harvest of a garden- they are dependent upon how well we nourish and empower them with strong, healthy beliefs. And the beauty of this realization is that we can determine how successful we are at reaching our dreams and desires simply by believing in ourselves and embracing positive attitudes, and no one can take this away from us unless we allow them to do so.

And even if our attitudes are negative, or wishy-washy and on the fence, all it takes is a simple shift in perspectives to make a world of difference. Everything picks up when we begin to believe in our self: self-image and self-confidence, feelings of happiness and contentment, work performance and productivity, even relationships- for it is easier to be with someone who believes in himself or herself than it is to be with someone who does not.

The beauty we should strive to maintain is the one that comes from being a gentle, loving, kind, merciful, forgiving, compassionate, selfless, and strong person who is not misdirected or shipwrecked by the winds and rains of circumstance and happenstance. Therefore, it is very important that we must develop the important elements of who we are such as our integrity and fortitude, and our inner security and faith.

The reality is that true beauty in an individual has no tangible measure- it does not require wealth, power, or fame, nor does it involve make-up, expensive clothes, or any other form of vanity- it simply requires strong character. And once we have that, others will be able to look to us as a source of guidance, strength, and inspiration in their own lives.

However, guard your beauty diligently, so that no ones ugliness rubs off on you.

I truly believe that no situation is ever hopeless. Anything can be turned around as long as you have breath in you. It may be a cliché, but “where there is a will, there is a way.” Everyone needs support in life one way or another, but ultimately only you can make a lasting difference in your own life. It is very important to have a dream and to pursue it with everything you have; and the size of your dream is up to you because the sky has never been the limit and you have all the potential to have anything and be anything you want.

We all have full responsibility for our own life and must choose rightly who should  be in the driver’s seat, (I CHOOSE GOD) because it is your thinking and your talk that ultimately determine your destiny.

So what do you desire? What are you working towards? What are you planning for? What are you feeding your mind with? What are you saying to yourself or that situation? Remember, nothing is hopeless! It does not matter how dark the night is, the sun will surely shine! Believe that!

In the early years of my life, as a little child, I had always loved to be in the limelight, but somehow, my parents just did not allow me express my true inner abilities. I have always known what I wanted in life, but I was restricted. I never wanted to do science, but my parents thought I would do well with science but I know I loved arts. Well, my point is, they actually decided my whole life for me, which made me lose interest in so many things- even when I was forced to read Agricultural Economics in the University.

Well, now I have the chance to really do what I love doing, and very open to greater opportunities that will take me to where GOD has destined me to be.

So, If you ever feel like you have failed to find your true calling in life, do not lose hope.

The truth is, we are all entitled to do-overs in life- we will all need them at some point in the journey. Just do you best to love the work you find and commit to, and be open to all of the opportunities that come your way. Cheer up! Your best days are coming!

Just a word for you my friend. If you know who you are, you will not care about what people say or feel about you, because you know that the GREATER ONE lives inside of you. Always walk in the consciousness of who you are and WHO is with you. Have a blessed month!
