What does that voice at the back of your mind keep telling you? What makes you uncomfortable or ashamed of yourself? This could be anything from mistakes to regrets, disappointment, friends at school, or a past traumatic or negative experience. Whatever is making you feel unworthy, ashamed, or inferior, identify it, give it a title, and write it down. Then, tear or burn these written pieces to start feeling positive on those points.

This exercise is not meant to bring you down. It is meant to make you aware of the problems you are dealing with, and empower you to move past them. It gives you this feeling of "letting go". I tried it and it worked(s).

Decide what you want. Believe you can have it. Believe you deserve it and believe it’s possible for you. And then close your eyes and every day for several minutes, and visualize having what you already want, feeling the feelings of already having it.

Come out of that and focus on what you’re grateful for already, and really enjoy it. Then go into your day and release it to GOD and trust that HE is able to bring it to manifestation!

Get your daily calcium from milk or yoghurt or from other sources of calcium. Calcium keeps your bones strong. Remember that your bone density declines after the age of 30. You need at least 200 milligram daily, which you should also combine with magnesium.

You may think that people who are self-confident are never fearful. This simply is not true. Fear means you are at your growing edge. Perhaps your fear is speaking in front of a group, introducing yourself to someone you don't know, or asking your boss for a raise.

When you are able to confront what you fear, you will gain self-confidence and you will feel the boost immediately!

Imagine a baby as she learns to walk. So much possibility awaits her. But she is fearful that she will fall as she takes those first steps. When she conquers her fear, and begins walking, a huge smile covers her face! This is you, pushing past your fears too.

Connect with those close to you, whether they are family or friends, to keep your perspective uplifted. MOST FAR, stay away from people or things that make you feel bad.

The truth is, someone you call a friend may actually make you feel bad, if they constantly make negative remarks, or criticize you. Even well-intended family members who weigh in with their opinions about what you “should” be doing can be destructive to your self-confidence.

You need to cultivate your own positive attitude, set your goals, and work towards achieving them. As much as possible, limit your contact with the naysayers while you build your self-confidence.

Who are the people in your life that really make you feel great?

Make a goal to spend more time with people who are supportive and uplifting. Happy weekend...and stay positive!

No matter who you are, no matter where you are, no matter your circumstances or desires, if you make a gratitude list every day of the things you are grateful for or if you are truly thankful for every passing day and events, you will see your life take off!

GRATITUDE is your MAGIC WAND! Whatever you point gratitude at increases, gets better, expands, and escalates, but you have to pick up that magic wand, and use it! Got it?

Have a fabulous week friends!

Showering or bathing in water that's too hot will dry out your skin and cause it to age prematurely. Warm water is much better.

Apply moisturiser while your skin is still damp- it will absorb faster which makes it even more effective.

Adding a little moisturising oil to your bath will help keep your skin moisturised too. Hope you enjoy this tip.... and have you a fabulous weekend!

The healing of our wounds does not depend on those external actions we take such as working harder, eating healthier, or studying longer hours and more. Healing is not wounds of the body, but of the soul. That means that the only way to healing is to be healed from the inside!

Deep in your soul, you may be feeling a great emptiness and uncertainty. You may be feeling compelled to measure up to the standards of other people, while at the same time, not being able to measure up to your own sense of wholeness.

You try to be strong, yet it seems you could never be strong enough. You even try to be good, but you could never be holy enough.  You are always followed by your sense of shame, and so you hide yourself with masks of perfection and of beauty.   Beyond that mask however, you feel inadequate, and tired of trying over and over again.

JUST STOP your frantic efforts to keep up with others. Healing begins when you are able to face your worst pictures of yourself and still believe that you are worth something great, no matter what!

I watched a local football match in a school playing ground.

As I sat down, I asked one of the boys what the score was.

With a proud smile, he replied; 'They are leading us 3-0' !!!

I have to say you don't look discouraged.

'Discouraged?' the boy asked with a puzzled look.

Why should I be discouraged when the referee has not blown the final whistle ?

Truly, I didn't have an answer to this question!

As I got back home that night, his question became a course in my stay in life indeed.

Life is like a game.
Why should you be discouraged when your referee... The Almighty has not blown the final whistle on your life?

The truth is that as long as there is life, nothing is impossible & it is never too late for you.

Half time is not full time & HIS calendar is not man's.
Dont blow the whistle on yourself.
Have an awesome life and with less stress.

Hello friends, hope you all are doing great! Here's, a word from one of my favourites, Susan L. Taylor. Hope this blesses someone.

"The unhappiness we experience is not so much a result of the difficulties encountered along our journey as it is of our misperception of how life instructs us. We may see a failed relationship as an indictment of our self-worth when it is really a lesson in using better judgment, in valuing ourselves more, in expressing greater appreciation for our partner--lessons to prepare us for a more loving and fulfilling union. If we are passed over for a much-anticipated promotion, it may be just the push we need to get more training or to venture out on our own as an entrepreneur. As we rise to meet the challenges that are a natural part of living, we awaken to our many undiscovered gifts, to our inner power and our purpose."

What is the meaning of surrender? It is realizing that everywhere, everything belongs to the DIVINE, and that means - “I” am not in control. And with this realization comes a deep relaxation, a feeling of trust and being at home.

We fear so much about suurendering because we think we will lose something? But I tell you, you will gain in the kingdom of world and heaven." Nothing is as good as having peace of mind! Your labour becomes favour when you surrender to the DIVINE!

A very poor woman with a small family called-in to a radio station asking for help from GOD.

A non-believer man who was also listening to this radio program decided to make fun of the woman.

He got her address, called his secretary and ordered her to buy a large amount of foodstuffs and take to the woman.

However, he sent it with the following instruction: 'When the woman asks who sent the food, tell her that its from the devil.''

When the secretary arrived at the woman's house, the woman was so happy and grateful for the help that she had received. She started putting the food inside her small house.

The Secretary then asked her, 'Don't you want to know who sent the food?'

The woman replied, 'No, Say thanks to whomever sent ths! I don't care who the person is because when GOD orders, even the devil obeys!

Worries end where FAITH BEGINS!

Deep in his slumber, one night a man had a very real, yet surreal dream. He dreamt that he was walking along the beach with God. As he looked up at the sky, he saw all the scenes of his life flash by along with two sets of footprints: one set for himself, and another for God.

After all the scenes had flashed before him, he looked back at those footprints and noticed something quite disturbing: At the most difficult times in his life, he saw only one set of footprints.

This deeply troubled the man, so he turned and said to God: "You said that if I followed you, then you would always walk with me through thick and thin. In looking back, I see that during the most painful times there is only one set of footprints. Why did you leave me when I needed you the most?"

"I love you and would never leave. It was during those times when you suffered the most that I carried you."

The tighter you try and hold on to something that you are afraid of losing, the more you are pushing it away. Those thoughts are filled with fear, and if you continue to persist, what you fear the most will come upon you. Remember what Job said, "the thing I feared most has come upon me."

If you are afraid of being poor, that is all that you will attract. But if you believe that you deserve only the best, even in the worst situation, you will begin to see your life change towards that good that you strongly and undoubtedly believe that you deserve!

Fear nothing - just think about what you want, relish in that good thought. It feels so much better!

Your reaction to a situation determines whether it will be positive or negative.

If you are determined to label a situation positive, no matter how it appears, the result MUST be positive. If you label something negative, that MUST be your experience. So, It is never too late to change a situation because you have an unlimited supply of positive sticky labels! Your life is always your call!

Most times, things are not as they seem! You could find what you are looking for in that "seemingly unfriendly" situation!

We need at least 90 mg of Vitamin C per day and the best way to get this is by eating at least five servings of fresh fruits and vegetables every day. So hit the oranges and guavas. And hey, do not tea- very rich in antioxidants!

The power to live and the power to die is in the word of the mouth! Anything you keep talking about eventually becomes your lot in life- basically, what you confess is what you will ultimately possess!

What are you feeding your soul with? Your confessions and your thoughts must agree before they produce the desired results. Remember that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. So whatever you feed your soul with will determine what comes out of your mouth and that is what you will most definitely get!

It does not matter the situation you are in right now, the truth is, answer comes to those who speak THE WORD! Fight for your future with the right words and confessions, and you will see your life blossom!

What choices are you making today? Are they bringing the change you desire to see in your world? Are you sharing your life, your talents, and your touch with others around you today?

You may have read that children need to experience the consequences of their actions as soon as possible. And maybe you’ve heard that parents should be calm as they discipline children. In reality, you may not be able keep your cool and react right away.'Buy yourself time to calm down before you deal with the situation,'in my opinion and from experience. You can tell your child, 'Wow, bad decision. I need some time to figure out what I’m going to do about that.'

When your emotions are in check, express empathy for your child first, then deliver the consequences. Empathy gives your child room to connect his/her behavior to the outcome.

In June 1985, two British mountaineers Joe Simpson and Simon Yates made the first-ever climb of the West Face of the 21,000 foot snow-covered Siula Grande mountain in Peru. It was an exceptionally tough assault - but nothing compared to what was to come. Early in the descent, Simpson fell and smashed his right knee. Yates could have abandoned him but managed to find a way of lowering him down the mountain in a series of difficult drops blinded by snow and cold. Then Simpson fell into a crevasse and Yates eventually had no choice but to cut the rope, utterly convinced that his friend was now dead.

In his subsequent book on the climb entitled "Touching The Void", Joe Simpson wrote:

"As I gazed at the distant moraines, I knew that I must at least try. I would probably die out there amid those boulders. The thought didn't alarm me. It seemed reasonable, matter-of-fact. That was how it was. I could aim for something. If I died, well, that wasn't so surprising, but I wouldn't have just waited for it to happen. The horror of dying no longer affected me as it had in the crevasse. I now had the chance to confront it and struggle against it. It wasn't a bleak dark terror any more, just fact, like my broken leg and frostbitten fingers, and I couldn't be afraid of things like that. My leg would hurt when I fell and when I couldn't get up I would die."

The survival of Yates himself was extraordinary. That Simpson somehow found a way of climbing out of the crevasse after 12 hours and then literally crawled and dragged himself six miles back to camp, going three days and nights without food or drink, losing three stone, and contracting ketoacidosis in the process, would be the stuff of heroic fiction if it was not so true. Indeed, six operations and two years later, he was even back climbing. All because, against all the odds, he tried!

If you have been living your life saying to yourself, “I will be happy when I have a better house,” “I will be happy when I get a job or promotion,” “I will be happy when the kids are through college,” “I will be happy when we have more money,” “I will be happy when I can travel,” or “I will be happy when my business is a success,” you will never have those things because your thoughts are defying the way love works. They are defying the law of attraction.

You have to be happy first, and give happiness, to receive happy things! It cannot happen any other way, because whatever you want to receive in life, you must give first! You are in command of your feelings, you are in command of your love, and the force of love will give back to you whatever you give out.

"A novice went to Abbot Macarius seeking advice about the best way to please the Lord.

"Go to the cemetery and insult the dead," said Macarius.

The brother did as he was told. The following day, he returned to Macarius.

"Did they respond?" asked the abbot.

The novice said, "No, they didn't."

"Then go to them and praise them."

The novice obeyed. That same afternoon, he returned to the abbot, who again wished to know whether the dead had responded.

"No," said the novice.

"In order to please the Lord, behave as they do," said Macarius. "Pay no heed to the insults of men, nor to their praise; in this way, you shall forge your own path.""

Tomato is a superstar in the fruit and veggie pantheon. Tomatoes contain lycopene, a powerful cancer fighter. They are rich in antioxidant- also rich in Vitamin C.

The good news is that cooked tomatoes are also nutritious, so use them in your meal this weekend and everyday! Tomatoes can also reduce risk of asthma and chronic lung diseases. To enjoy the benefits, eat tomatoes everyday! Happy weekend friends!

The real secret to finding true happiness is knowing who we are, what we want and what is important to us, personally! The simple truth is that there is not one universal path to happiness because every person is different and has different dreams, visions, needs etc.

While for someone, it could be creating something and for another it's nurturing others. However, we are too often focused on the wrong goals because we listen to other people or the popular trends.

If we spend our time and energy to really concentrate on our dreams, and shut out the distractions, and feel the happiness of knowing who we truly are from the inside, you will discover that you true happiness has absolutely nothing to do with anything external but internal! Happiness is an inside thing!

When you fall in love with life, every limitation disappears. You break the limitations on money, health, happiness, and the limits of joy in your relationships.

Fall in love with life, unleash the power within you, and you will become unlimited and invincible!

An old woman had two water cans, which were attached to a wooden stick, one in right side and one in left side. Each day she used to carry them over her shoulders and went down to the river, filled the cans, and walked back to her hut.

The water can on the right side of the stick was fine and sturdy; when she arrived home it was always full. But the can on the left had a crack in it. By the time the woman arrived home, half the water was usually gone.

The cracked water can always felt inferior to his partner. He was ashamed that he was cracked and wasn't able to hold the water.

One day he turned to the woman and apologized for being defective.
The woman smiled gently and said, 'Did you think I didn't know that you had a crack, and water dripped from you? Look at the path from the river to my hut. Do you see all the beautiful flowers that are growing on the one side of the path? Those are the flowers that I planted there, that you watered every day as I walked home from the river.'

You see friend, no one is inferior; even if you feel you have nothing to offer, that's your mind lieing to you. Trust me, there is role for everyone to play, and everyone is perfectly playing their role- including you!

Everything in the universe is magnetic and everything has a magnetic frequency.

Your feelings and thoughts have magnetic frequencies too. Whatever you feel, whether good or bad, determines your frequency, and like a magnet you attract the people, events, and circumstances that are on the same frequency. What frequency are you on?

If we strive to attend to the moment that we are in, we will find our lives much more full of meaning and substance. Some of my greatest moments have been those when I have stopped doing whatever I was doing so that I could just be. I stand in silence and listen. I listen to my breathing. I look at everything around me and consider how it is a part of who I am. I feel whatever is closest to me. I am alive! How about you?

Today, and every day of our lives, we have the opportunity and ability to serve others with love and compassion, with authentic will and joy. And if we give ourselves a chance to try, perhaps we may find more love than we ever dreamt existed.

But ( replace with and... )
If ( replace with when... )
Should ( replace with could... )
You ( replace with I/we... )
Can't ( replace with can... )
Don't ( use action alternative...e.g. "don't put that there"/"please put that here",
"don't yell @ me"/"please speak gently to me".

Sounds familiar? Remember that the words we speak reveals how well or sick our mental state is- and as such charts the course of our lives!

Gratitude is an attitude that hooks us up to our source of supply. And the more grateful you are, the closer you become to your MAKER, to the Architect of the universe, to the spiritual core of your being. It is a phenomenal lesson. So in this 2017, be a gratitude freak. Because as they say, your gratitude determines your altitude. You can't be genuinely grateful and remain small; it is only a matter of time! Have an extraordinary year!
