Be conscious on how much salt you take in- during snacks and meals. The table salt is sodium chloride which is widely used as flavor enhancer. High sodium intake is a risk factor for diseases like high blood, heartburn, osteoporosis and other cardiovascular diseases. 

Limit sodium intake by just reducing your consumption of salty foods without taking the option of salt substitutes. Have a restful weekend.xoxo

Be grateful. Being grateful is a great attitude and as they say, a grateful heart is a happy heart. So stop sulking and be grateful for all you have. We have so much to be thankful for, if not for anything, thank GOD for being alive, thank your spouse for being so amazing; because a living dog is better than a dead lion. 

News is stressful. Get less of it. Some people just can't start their day without their daily dose of news. Try and think about it, 99% of the news we hear or read is bad news. Starting the day with bad news does not seem to be a sensible thing to do.

Manage your time.

Laugh and laugh heartily everyday. Heard a good joke? Tell your spouse, friends or family about it. As they also say -'Laughter is the best medicine'.

Be kind; and try not to keep pent up anger of frustrations, this is bad for your health. Instead find ways of expressing them in a way that will not cause more injury or hurt to anyone.

Accomplishments are necessary for all of us, they give us a sense of value. Work on things that you feel are worthy of your time.

Learning is a joyful exercise. Try and learn something new everyday. Learning also makes us expand and broaden our horizons. And could also give us more opportunities in the future. 

Feel alive by doing the things that your body's made for.

Avoid exposure to negative and toxic people as well as toxic environment.

These are the few simple things you can do everyday to stay happy. 

And always remember the quote from Abraham Lincoln, he says that, "Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be."

I learned a great lesson today about the redwood trees, so I thought I should share it. I learned that though the redwood trees are some of the tallest trees in the world, they do not have especially deep roots, which consequently if alone, would be in great danger of falling over. 

However, what thrilled me was the fact that redwoods tend to grow close to one another, and under the soil their roots bind together, adding strength and support so that even when faced with storms, the roots tighten around each other, making redwood forests some of the most steadfast in the world. 

Here's the moral lesson; you cannot survive alone, you cannot succeed alone. You need covenant relationships and alignment with one another to achieve such solidarity, to excel in life no matter how good you are at what you do! 

Like the redwood trees, find yourself a great support system! Do not let anyone  or your mind deceive you into thinking that you don't need anyone's help! That's a lie!

A man can only rise, conquer, and achieve by lifting up his thoughts. On the other can help can remain weak, abject and miserable by refusing to lift up his thoughts.

A good disposition is a very important attribute to enjoying a happy life. It is the only way that you can get along with people. 

It is a law of nature that if a person projects a belligerent attitude wherever he goes, people will respond in one of the two ways: Avoid him or answer him back with a belligerent attitude. On the other hand, if a person projects a kindly attitude wherever he goes, people will like him and project back a kindly attitude. Which would you rather choose? I choose to continue to have a good disposition.

One of the first steps you must take in your quest to developing your personality is to know yourself- discover who you are. 

It is very important to know yourself in order to figure out what needs to be done to modify your existing personality. 

Knowing yourself is not about knowing your favorite color, food and etc. It is about knowing your limitations and plus points. You must be aware of your abilities so that you can use them when the time comes. You must analyze yourself to be able to find out what it is that you lacking as well as ways to get better.

Are you short tempered or do you panic easily or maybe you find it difficult to speak in a group? You must identify your struggles and learn better ways to break out of your limitations.


It is not just looks that are important and that define who you are. Personality defines who you are and how you respond in various situations. It is essential to focus on the personality, which matters the most.

Whenever you are engaging yourself in some activities, you are exercising your brain.

Consider practicing activities, such as puzzles, crafts, reading quality books that will improve your thinking and writing skills, books that force you to really focus painting, and other recreational activities that will refresh and rejuvenate you and your mind, in particular. Majorly, that's how I exercise my brain.

Junk foods literally mean useless! It does no good at all to your body.
