Just a little word to my friends out there. The Master Potter is still in the business of forming and filling us. It helps if you know this truth, especially when you are on the wheel and everything seems to be spinning out of control.  The Potter is in the control process. HE is monitoring every move you make, even in that "bad" situation. If the enemy had been in control,  he would have thrown you off years ago. Don't worry, the Potter is not intimidated by the clay, regardless of how flawed it may be. Others will press you down, but the Potter will pull you up and keep lifting you higher.  That's why I call GOD, THE MASTER POTTER. 

Having less information does not make you less. Know that life is a school and every new acquaintance is a teacher. Whatever others know, they have not always known it. Do not feel less of yourself because you do not know. The terrible thing against not knowing is not learning. So, seize every opportunity to learn. Most importantly, pick the right people to learn from. Recognise bad friendships/associations and walk away from them before they take you down with them. Bear this in mind, you cannot partner successfully with somebody who does not share your goals or the degree of your strength.

When GOD defines you, what difference does anybody else's opinion make?

Life will either bury you or bless you; it all depends on which one you choose. With the right attitude, life will bless you. Stop sounding defeated each time you are faced with a challenge. When you are faced with a challenge or life throws dirts on you, just shake it off and step on it. Infact, see those dirts as manure that will help you grow stronger. Also know that no one can make you feel inferior without your consent. 

In the course of life, I discovered that storms come for a reason. They also come for a season. All that is needed is for one to discover the reason for the storm and become wiser; outlast the season and become stronger. Can you think of one quitter who accomplished anything in life?  William Blake said, "There's no mistake so great as the mistake of not going on!".  You all know the inventor of telephone, Alexander Graham Bell. The truth is, a German school teacher named Reese could have been the one the whole world know as the inventor of telephone.  What happened?  Reese's phone could convey sounds of whistling and humming, but not speech. What you pronounce to yourself when you wake up will determine how good or bad your day will go.  As a child of GOD, you need to know your position. People say bad news fly very fast, so is your negative pronouncement. I can relate with you if you wake up and feel like complaining and caring about the things of this world, yet you can choose to say "This is the day that the LORD has made and I shall rejoice and be glad in it". You will feel peace and great assurance because my Bible tells me that you have whatever you say.  When you're feeling low and your husband feels you and talks to you, don't you feel assured? Of course you do and bounce back. It's amazing. That's what GOD wants us to do every time we wake up, whether we are feeling good or not-go to HIS word and declare HIS great assurance to us, no matter what your situation looks like.   Live and soar!!!

Charles Lindbergh said, "Success is not measured by what a man accomplishes, but by the opposition he encountered, and the courage he maintained in his struggle against it". Abraham Lincoln wrote, "Success is going from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm". Elbert Hubbard wrote, "There is no defeat, except in no longer trying; no really insurmountable barrier, save our own inherent weakness of purpose". I have come to discover that talent alone does not lead to success,  but drive, determination and with the help of GOD. People who ever did anything worth while would tell you they stuck with these attributes.  

Part of GODS creative design was for humans to become receptive to the display of genuine love and affection.

If you are in a relationship, whether intimate or platonic and you cannot say how you feel (without the person taking it all out on you as if you committed an unforgivable crime), it is a sign that you are treading on a life dangerous snake. If you genuinely call someone your friend, always make room for the person to share his or her thoughts/feelings. It doesn't hurt. Even if it does, you should be free to express yourself as well. That's what friends are for. Things must not always go your way all the time. #Deep thought

THERE ARE TOO MANY DAMAGED SOULS OUT THERE. BE CAREFUL WHO YOU MAKE YOUR FRIEND. BECAUSE NO MATTER HOW TRUE YOU ARE TO THEM, THEY WILL NEVER SEE IT.

It is wise to alter and change the flaws in ourselves and even wiser to acknowledge and embrace our calling.  Allow the true you to become strong. Do not let anyone or even yourself talk you into believing that, because you were assumed to be a shy person, you cannot become bold and strong. The truth is, you can do all things through CHRIST that strengthens you.  Discover your gift. Your gift is not far from that "thing " you truly love doing the most. 

No farmer manipulates the ground until the seed he planted breaks through the soil and bears fruits. All the farmer does is to plant the seed, waters it and allows the only one who has the power to make it grow(GOD) to take care of the rest. And in the right season, the fruits come forth.  Manipulation is evil and the end is always disastrous, because the manipulated always becomes embittered towards the manipulators who think they have won. And you all know what an embittered person can do.  Please desist from manipulating people, there is no gain on it and also it never ends well. 

A woman's influence can make or break a man . It can turn the tide of a nation's destiny.  After all the atrocities and segregation,  it was a lovely little woman sitting on a bus who catapulted the civil rights movement into action. Why? Because, influence is more powerful than authority. It is a heart thing. 

Praise is a weapon.

People who believe in themselves become history changers. They are the ones who set trends and break records. They boldly do what others say cannot be done. These people are very often the inventors, athletic superstars, and the multi millionaires of a generation.  When you start believing in yourself, you will start making a difference in the world around you. People who believe in themselves inspire others to believe in themselves as well. Your self-confidence is directly connected to how you think and feel you are making a difference in the world.

PIM:  As a financial planner, how do you cope with family affairs despite tight schedules?  ODE: I love my family alot. My family is next to GOD before my business. I come to work at the comfort of my family, though I resume earlier than  my staff at times. GOD is GOD,  family is family, business is business. I strike a balance yo avoid lapses. That is why I don't work on weekends. Despite all the circumstances, I shut down on Friday and resume on Monday, while closes 6 or 7pm on week days.  PIM: Did you receive any aid from any politician because it is perceived v that success is tied to politicians as far as Abuja is concerned?  ODE: Certainly not. I attribute my success to GOD because HE is always on my side and whatever I want I get. From the inception, I knew that I was not going back. I am not successful because I do what others have not done, but because I have a Father that cannot forsake me at all times.  PIM: What is the driving force?  ODE: Integ

Do not live your life without any drive, desire,  purpose. I have come to realise that what I genuinely desire comes to me, it doesn't matter how long it takes. I hear people say, "oh well, I take life the way I see it". What a lie to live with!  Life cannot give you what you do not desire, because you would not even know what to do with it or how to handle it.  But when your heart desires something and it comes,  you will deeply appreciate it and thrive to make it better.  Your life is not an accident. Start today to desire something - something good, beautiful, worthy of giving thanks and see how they come to you. It's amazing how this "thing" works, but it sure works. And above all, desire GOD! 

Waiting is part of protocol, so learn to wait.  Though waiting can be very frustrating, especially when you have to wait for someone/something you do not know when he or she (it) will arrive.  An example is when  you have to wait for someone in an office forever and the most frustrating part is when that person does not show up, after cancelling all your appointments to meet that particular one.  But in all these, I finally realised that waiting teaches you patience, discipline, self control. So, while you wait for whatever it is you are trusting GOD for, see GOD in it. I know waiting can be very frustrating, but try and let go and wait in the line, it will surely get to your turn. 

Far too many times, it is not what a woman says to a man, it is the way she says it that causes him to rebel against a perfectly good advice.  Be that as it may, it takes a man who has understood his wife to know which measure to take, whether to rebel or talk to the wife in a way that she would know that the seemingly good advice was not going down well, instead of fighting her (even when her intent is genuine).  The fastest way to resolve any arguement between couples is not by keeping quiet on each other (thereby giving room to the devil), but by "having a heart to heart talk", rounding it off with a word of prayer and finally "getting down to business". There is an adage in my dialect that says "O nweghi ihe eji trouble eme" which means, trouble is useless to start engaging in it. So, Let love lead the way my dear friends. 

Men or Women who seek immediate gratification for their deep longings will fall prey to deception.

It is very important for you to be certain that you are dating the right man for you.  A woman needs affection, attention, protection, love, care and understanding from her husband.  Most times, the pressure from family, friends, relatives and the society affect our decisions in making the right choices. There's this conception about the age of a woman making her fully ripe for marriage.  But I have come to realise that age doesn't have anything to do with marriage.  It is all in the mind.   If you are mature in your mind and you are well informed about taking a certain decision,  do you consider age as a factor?  Hardly.   So my dear ladies, do not let anyone convince you to get married when you are not sure about the man you are dating no matter your age. Does he have self control?  Is he spirit filled?  Know that one thing is to get born again and another thing is to get baptised in the HOLY SPIRIT(a talk for another day).  You know yourself ver

There is no progress without the process! 

Do you know that there are people some where,  even people you know who have an opinion about you. They feel they know you and as such expect you to behave in certain ways that would please them? Oh yess, I guess I am speaking someone's mind right now.  The truth is, as much as it is very good to leave a good impression, most of the time,  you need not live your life to impress the world (aside your loved ones who mean well for you and most importantly GOD ALMIGHTY). Do not go defending yourself and trying to get people's approvals.  You might find yourself in a situation where you feel you need to clarify yourself (being defensive more like), but I tell you my friend, most times, It is rather the best time to keep quiet and let them assume whatever...  The world is not a place where you owe people who do not have a clue of your struggles and where you are coming from any form of explanation.
