Wherever you are in this journey called life, wherever you may be employed, wherever you may be in your domestic situation, wherever you may be in your age, your health or your lifestyle, GOD may be preparing you for a great surprise in order to find you faithful!  Rather than running from HIM, run towards HIM! And rather than looking for someone to blame for the pain that you are going through now, or the change that is on going, look upward and realise that this arrangement is divinely orchestrated for your good and for GOD'S glory! A woman once said, Beauty attracts men but wisdom keeps them. Elegance catches men’s attention but intelligence convinces them. Nagging irritates men but constructive silence weakens them. The ‘boy’ in every man pumps out occasionally, the ability to handle this is a woman’s truest maturity. Men have secret struggles and silent pains, should you ever find them out, you have exhibited the greatest maturity. In the long-run,  your ‘words’ matters more to a man than your ‘looks’, so invest the right words. Earn a man’s respect and he will consider you the yard stick for all his action. Learn to mold the moods of your man. Men will naturally give u their futures if they can recall your maturity in yesterday’s issues… Women are everywhere but queens are scarce. Let the queen in you come alive and he will hold you in high esteem. Woman, Build your Home through Wisdom!

Why is it that when a man and a woman connect too soon, the man generally ends up pulling away, while the woman feels more needy?  Please let's hear your thoughts. 

How long have we focused on our outer appearances that we no longer recognise our inner beauty, inner strength, inner glory?  Your real value is not your makeup, neither can it be bought. Your real strength is more than a facade- outward apparels, which is very deceptive. The real thing that causes a man to need you  that he cannot leave you is not what is on you, but what is in you!  You know, the truth is, when you focus on the wrong areas, you don't get the right results. 

Have you ever had someone whom you casted the weight of your confidence on, only to have your trust defrauded in a moment of self-gratification and indulgence? Someone who has a selfish need can jeopardise all that you have! 

Some people see you and come up with this funny idea in their heads that they can control or shut you up. Like they see you and feel you are helpless!  Well, that's generally how life is. It beats  you hands down- if you allow it! Do not always run in the face of adversity. Face it head on! Do not go back into your shell when someone barks at you.  Some situations require you to stand on your feet and challenge them, while some require you to absolutely ignore it.   When the world comes too hard on you, come too hard on it as well!  Remember whose child you are! 

A woman  loves it when her man takes charge to follow through and do something without putting it back in her lap. This is very important to her because most women already have the tendency to be overly responsible. The more complex and stressful their lives become, the more overwhelmed and exhausted they become.  A woman begins to feel responsible for doing everything for everyone. Her way of getting relief is to share these feelings with someone she loves. If she can share, something happens inside her and she doesn't feel so responsible. It is ad if she sees all possible problems and, unless she tells someone, she feels it is all up to her. More of this tomorrow.  John Gray. 

Why are some parents too afraid to correct their children?

In life, we need to learn to celebrate our victories. No matter how small, by celebrating your victories, you will get the opportunity to celebrate more of them.  A life worth living, is a life worth celebrating! Celebration is an attitude. It is a lifestyle that will attract more good to you! Start today to celebrate yourself, your spouse, children, birthdays, achievements. It is worth it!

As Winston Churchill put it, "Never give up. Never give up." It does not get much clearer than that.  To succeed, you simply must persist! And you know what? It is only when the going is tough that you will every truly test this ability!

Just a word for you!  Most great men and women we know today were not born with silver spoons.  When you listen to most of them, they will tell you how life was very hard for them that it seemed help would never come. They will tell you how they had to struggle, yet no gain. Some will tell you how they hawked goods, the list goes on. But today,  they have a different story to tell.  To you out there asking when it is going to happen for you, or you are almost about throwing in the towel; hang in there!  I always tell myself "it won't always be like this". Tell yourself, it won't always be like this! Persevere! Don't throw in the towel. Hope only for the best, not worst!  You guys read the article I sent to you about Linda Ikeji? I am told that when a lion gets too old to hunt, it roars. It works like this: while the younger lion hides in the bushes off to one side, the old lion roars from the other, and their terrified prey in the middle rums from the roar- right into the trap!  Today, run to the roar! Confront your fears and you will discover that they have no powers over you! The wisest thing to do at any difficult situation is to rise and take the bull by the horn. It is very painful to be knocked down with a heavy weight blow, but while you are lying on the ground, start gathering momentum to get up! You have to get up! Say no to self pity! Do not think that your situation will show you any mercy. No, it won't! It will rather make sure you did not make it out! So, get up and show your situation no mercy! Let your situation know that though you may have been bent over, you can never break!  You are a winner!

It is very easy to believe, when you have not been faced with difficult situations, pain, loss, tragedy! When you have gone through fires and made it alive, then you will truly believe that GOD is who HE says HE is! 

Good attitude opens heavenly doors. I said heavenly because, most times, ones good is never recognised or appreciated by the world. People are always looking out for your faults and forgetting the good in you. It is only GOD that rewards ones good and set him up in high places.  Remember Abigail in the bible? Despite the fact that her husband had a very bad attitude, that king David decided to wipe him and his entire family out, Abigail's good attitude saved her and made her stand before kings.  Bottom line, whether people are noticing your good attitude or not, keep on keeping on. GOD sees!

You may feel discouraged at the moment, but you are not finished! That only happens when you quit- and quitting is not an option for you!

Remember at the garden of Eden, if Eve had not listened to the serpent's subtle talk, she and Adam would not have sinned against God.  There is what is called, professional listening. You listen and deliberate with colleagues or clients at work for the progress of an organisation. But the kind of listening you talked about is for married couples and their families and those in committed relationships.  A man should pay a great attention  to his wife's needs by listening to her and her him. Also parents should give a listening ear to  their children and children their parents. If you pay such attention to the opposite sex out there, the person will start getting bad ideas in his or her mind.  Kee

Good listening progresses from accepting a person- unconditionally- to understanding what he or she is saying, and then supporting him or her in the search for solutions to the problem. From acceptance, to understanding, to hearing,  to solution. There are absolutely no shortcuts to this process. None.  Listening is a window into a person's inner being. It is very frustrating to have anything to do with someone who does not give you a listening ear.  Listening to the person does not really mean you are agreeing to what the person  is saying, but it will give the person some good sense of belonging, then you can suggest a more comfortable idea to deal with whatever issue at hand. If we do not listen, we will fail to understand what is going on.  Without listening, people grow apart from those they love! Conflicts will go unresolved because we won't hear their correction or encouragement.  Without listening, friendship will die, we will miss great wisdom, guidan

Years ago, a scientist diagnosed that shaking a young baby vigorously can cause bleeding inside the head and increase pressure on the brain. Because a baby's muscles are not fully developed and brain tissue is exceptionally fragile, shaking a baby for only a few seconds can injure such baby for life. Such injuries can include brain swelling, mental retardation, development delays, hearing loss, blindness, paralysis and death. In many cases however, the injuries are not immediately visible and the baby may be diagnosed as, having cold or viral illness! So, never shake a baby please! 

Communication is not only about talking, but also listening. In a relationship where the partners are always talking and none is listening, there will be constant strife and arguments.  My mom would always say that, listening means you respect him or her enough to drop whatever you are doing at the given moment and pay total attention to him or her. You know, there are situations that require you just listen; and not give advice or your opinion or views. Just listen. 

The poor work for money whereas the rich make money work for them!

I have always loved arts, even as a child, yet my parents thought I would do best being a science student. I knew deep down inside of me that I had no business with science, but of course, I didn't have a choice, my parents insisted I must read science. Well, yours truly is back to what she's been born to do!  That's why, I just have few words to say to every parent; Every Child marches to the beat of a different drum. Some are creative, some are concrete; some are fast, some are slow; some are introverts, some are extroverts; some talk out what they are learning, some internalise the learning process.  Let us learn our children. Let us create time to discover who GOD has really designed them to be, instead of comparing them with your friend's children or your neighbour's child(ren) or their mates. Know this, every child is different!
