When someone or a friend in need comes to you for assistance and you are in a position to assist the person, please do not turn the person down. You might never know the courage the person had to put up to come to you in the first place. Some people are not good at going to people to ask for help, not necessarily because of pride,  but because of  the person's nature or as a result of disappointments.
GOD created and blessed us so we can also be blessings to other people. Do not brag and glory in your riches or subdue others. Practice hospitality. You might never know when you meet the angel that will turn your life around. Ask my father Abraham!
