DOING NOTHING AT ALL

Doing nothing at all is the most powerful thing you can do. It is important to remember that "doing nothing" is not the same as "doing nothing." We often think of doing nothing as a passive activity—something we do because we don't want to be busy, but it is important to recognize that there are other reasons you might want to take a break from your routine: You might be tired, or you might be bored with what you're working on and need a break from it. But sometimes it can feel like there is no point in doing nothing at all! How can I possibly get anything done if I'm not doing anything? We often ask that.  When you're too busy, it's easy to forget that sometimes doing nothing at all is the best thing you can do. It's not about how much time you spend doing things—it's about how many things you do. And when we get so busy that we don't have time for anything else, we lose sight of what matters most: ourselves and our family/relationsh

LET GO.

Image
You need to let go of your pride and admit you have weak areas in your life. If you don't let go of your pride and admit you have weak areas in your life, how can you ever hope to overcome them? Be open about your vulnerabilities, so that you can address them and not be afraid of them. Vulnerability is not the same thing as weakness. It's a sign of strength. So, let go., 🙏💡

SPOKEN WORDS.

Image
Words are a reflection of the mind and heart. They convey thoughts and emotions nastily or pleasantly. Words can be spoken to express love and joy, or they can be spoken to abuse someone with pain and hurt. Whatever you say is what you get, because words have the power to paint pictures in your mind that influence your feelings and your reality.  Words have the power to move people to action, positively or negatively. The words you choose determine the kind of life you lead. Your words can motivate others to step up their game or discourage them from doing their best. So, choose your words wisely so you don't encourage your own suffering or that of others.

ONE OF THE WAYS TO LET GO OF THE PAST.

Image
I would  say practice forgiveness. No one wakes up to wish for a painful experience like heartbreaks, but the truth is, it is all a learning experience; and mistakes make very valuable lessons. True. You need to have a mindset that allows you embrace your pain and see it as a blessing because, believe it or not, nothing just happens. So, i would say again, forgiveness. Forgive yourself first and forgive the person(s) that hurt you.  However, you'd have to promise yourself never to repeat the past, to avoid getting hurt over and over again. Give yourself and others the grace and space to learn from the mistakes. Also, explore some of your interests, try some new things. Seeing how you get better at those may help reinforce the time it takes to improve, and being able to observe your progress may reinforce that you are making some good progress. Hope this helps. 😊😊🤗

SOMEONE NEEDS TO HEAR THIS.

Image
When you feel an emotion don't numb it. It'll only make it feel worse later. Feel it fully then let it go. Emotion is energy. We must let it pass. Memory is fallible. When you have a good idea write it down immediately. Your best ideas come in the shower, walking or in the gym. Keep a notepad ready.

WORD FOR THE DAY

Image
Don’t trust anyone you haven’t lived with for at least a year. People have a habit of controlling and suppressing their dark side for at least a year before they can’t hold it anymore to show their true colors. Never neglect fitness and a good diet. These things tend to come haunting you when you grow older and are unable to move around as you used to when you were younger. Neglect of fitness also tends to leave your body open to regular ailments.

SOME MIND BLOWING FACTS

Image
From when it was discovered to when it was declassified as a planet, Pluto did not make a full orbit around the sun. 90% of the population on Earth lives in the Northern Hemisphere. Human beings only use one nostril at a time. Each nostril takes a turn at being dormant (about 5 minutes), as the other nostril does all the work. All of the planets could fit between the earth and the moon. Hippos have pink urine. There were still mammoths roaming the earth by the time the pyramids were being constructed. The world's largest living organism is one huge mushroom that lives underground somewhere in North America. Male giraffes continuously headbutt females in the bladder until they urinate. He then tastes the pee to determine whether the female is ovulating. If she is, it's business time. 111,111,111 x 111,111,111 = 12,345,678,987,654,321. It would take 1,200,000 mosquitoes, each sucking once, to completely drain the average human of blood. If you eat a polar bear liver, you will die

SOME HARD LESSONS LIFE TAUGHT ME.

Image
I said some because there are alot that life has taught me. However, I won't bore you with long reading. This right here is enough for now. Happy reading. 😊😊😊 To accept people as they are, but place them where they belong. The day you let go of the people you have been pointlessly holding onto, is the day your life gets a whole lot better. To stop holding onto people just because you have a history with them.  Sometimes growth requires new company, new friends and new mindsets. Some disconnections will bless your life. This is so true!  Sometimes you block your own blessings, by telling everyone your business. It pay off when people can't tag a name on you or even try to figure you out.  Most people will show you who they really are by mistake! Pay close attention! I actually learnt this the hard way. 😊 Your greatest test will be how you handle people who mishandle you. Hmmm, this one right here!!!!  Thank you for reading. What are your own life lessons? HOW TRUE ARE THESE PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTS?

Image
Can you relate? Do you think these psychological facts are true? Read below and tell me what you think. 😊 Your favorite song is probably favorite because you associate with an emotional event of your life. If you want to make someone feel uncomfortable, look at their forehead when you're talking to them. When a group of people laugh, they tend to look at the person they like the most. The truth will never be more painful than discovering a lie. Writing down negative thoughts and tossing them in a trash can is a psychological trick to improve your mood. Being unable to get someone off your mind indicates that you are also on that person’s mind. A person usually makes a lot of hand gestures when telling a true story. When they lie, a person's hands will stay noticeably still. The person on your mind, while you’re unable to sleep, is usually the person responsible for your happiness, pain or both. You appear more attractive to the other person when you make them smile or laugh. T

WHAT YOU MAY NEED TO KNOW ABOUT TIME BLOCKING.

Image
Time-blocking is an easy time-management hack by Cal Newport that takes just a minute but leads to so much clarity in your day. The night before, simply divide the coming day into 30-minute blocks (or 5-minute blocks if you’re Elon Musk) and assign tasks to them. This is what it looks like. By experience, I've learnt that time blocking helps eliminate the procrastination that stems from trying to decide “when” to start working.  If you decide when to start working in real-time, procrastination is inevitable. You might think that you will start working in 5 minutes — but those 5 minutes will turn into an hour without you realizing it. But if it is already decided that you will start working at 2 o’clock the next day, the chances of procrastination is reduced massively — if not diminished completely.  Also, when you lay out your day on a piece of paper and assign tasks to them, you will realize that you actually have a lot of time in a day. Do this every day, and it will get rid of t

EAT THE FROG FOR BREAKFAST!

Eating the frog is basically doing the most challenging and dreaded task of the day.

FOCUS 👁️

Image
Focus on what you want to do, ignore irritations and disturbance that may come your way. You can't do big things if you are distracted by small things. Release the distractions that are holding you back and focus on one thing only: getting it done. Nature is the best teacher a great source of wisdom. It carries important life lessons for those who want to learn.  Everything in nature teaches us something important. We need to pay attention!
