ALWAYS LEARN TO RECOGNISE YOUR INSECURITIES!

Image
What does that voice at the back of your mind keep telling you? What makes you uncomfortable or ashamed of yourself? This could be anything from mistakes to regrets, disappointment, friends at school, or a past traumatic or negative experience. Whatever is making you feel unworthy, ashamed, or inferior, identify it, give it a title, and write it down. Then, tear or burn these written pieces to start feeling positive on those points. This exercise is not meant to bring you down. It is meant to make you aware of the problems you are dealing with, and empower you to move past them. It gives you this feeling of "letting go". I tried it and it worked(s).

REFLECTION

Image
Decide what you want. Believe you can have it. Believe you deserve it and believe it’s possible for you. And then close your eyes and every day for several minutes, and visualize having what you already want, feeling the feelings of already having it. Come out of that and focus on what you’re grateful for already, and really enjoy it. Then go into your day and release it to GOD and trust that HE is able to bring it to manifestation!

WEEKEND HEALTH TIPS. BONE UP DAILY!

Get your daily calcium from milk or yoghurt or from other sources of calcium. Calcium keeps your bones strong. Remember that your bone density declines after the age of 30. You need at least 200 milligram daily, which you should also combine with magnesium.

BE COMFORTABLE WITH FEAR!

Image
You may think that people who are self-confident are never fearful. This simply is not true. Fear means you are at your growing edge. Perhaps your fear is speaking in front of a group, introducing yourself to someone you don't know, or asking your boss for a raise. When you are able to confront what you fear, you will gain self-confidence and you will feel the boost immediately! Imagine a baby as she learns to walk. So much possibility awaits her. But she is fearful that she will fall as she takes those first steps. When she conquers her fear, and begins walking, a huge smile covers her face! This is you, pushing past your fears too.

HOW TO MAINTAIN A POSITIVE SUPPORT NETWORK

Image
Connect with those close to you, whether they are family or friends, to keep your perspective uplifted. MOST FAR, stay away from people or things that make you feel bad. The truth is, someone you call a friend may actually make you feel bad, if they constantly make negative remarks, or criticize you. Even well-intended family members who weigh in with their opinions about what you “should” be doing can be destructive to your self-confidence. You need to cultivate your own positive attitude, set your goals, and work towards achieving them. As much as possible, limit your contact with the naysayers while you build your self-confidence. Who are the people in your life that really make you feel great? Make a goal to spend more time with people who are supportive and uplifting. Happy weekend...and stay positive!
