ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY!!! A HEART FELT NOTE BY DR. OLAKUNLE OLAJIDE MBBS, FWACS(Rad)MPH,CEO of Skolyte Health Systems Solutions Ltd

Fellow countrymen and women, in a couple of hours,  Mohammadu Buhari (MB) would have taken the oath of office as our President and Commander in Chief of our great nation. I have used the adjective "great" out of my incurable optimism of a great Nigeria, the giant of Africa, and my resolute conviction that if well governed, it will sooner than later grow to become a giant also of the world, in every respect! Unfortunately, this giant nation, endowed with immense human and natural resources, has been held down for too long, bound by the fetters of self-inflicted retardants of poor leadership, greed, and profligacy; and an unfortunate and inexplicable inability to put in place long term national development plans and follow through with same. Any plan at all is better than no plan! President Muhammadu Buhari has the uphill task and onerous duty of redirecting our nation to its desired path of inevitable greatness without any further delay. If he gets it right from the start, and I hope and pray that he does, I strongly believe that he will finish well and Nigeria will be the better for it. MB is a man of integrity, and I believe he can succeed in this office which he so much coveted for which he fought relentlessly and eventually attained. Now that he is there, he must begin work in ernest from now because there is so much work to be done, and no luxury of time. History beckons on ttMB to be the exemplary, visionary and altruistic leader! And for our nation, it is yet a new dawn, and another opportunity for every Nigerian to do right by our country in whichever sphere of influence that we operate. God bless Nigeria!
