LEADERSHIP, LOYALTY AND THE STORY OF DEMAS.✨

One of the lesser-known figures in the Bible, Demas, teaches a powerful lesson about consistency and commitment.

Demas started out as a trusted companion of the Apostle Paul.
He worked alongside Paul, served faithfully, and was even mentioned among Paul’s “fellow labourers” during his imprisonment.

But his story took a different turn.

In Paul’s final letter, he writes:

“Demas has deserted me, having loved this present world.” — 2 Timothy 4:10

Demas began well, but he didn’t finish well. He allowed comfort, distraction, or fear to pull him away from the mission.

There’s a leadership lesson here:

Talent will get you on the team

But consistency will keep you there

And character determines how you finish

In life, work, faith, and purpose; may we not only start strong, but also stay committed, even when the journey gets hard.

Because beginnings are common.
Finishing well is rare.
