DOING NOTHING AT ALL

Doing nothing at all is the most powerful thing you can do.

It is important to remember that "doing nothing" is not the same as "doing nothing." We often think of doing nothing as a passive activity—something we do because we don't want to be busy, but it is important to recognize that there are other reasons you might want to take a break from your routine: You might be tired, or you might be bored with what you're working on and need a break from it.

But sometimes it can feel like there is no point in doing nothing at all! How can I possibly get anything done if I'm not doing anything? We often ask that.

When you're too busy, it's easy to forget that sometimes doing nothing at all is the best thing you can do.

It's not about how much time you spend doing things—it's about how many things you do. And when we get so busy that we don't have time for anything else, we lose sight of what matters most: ourselves and our family/relationships.
