FOOD FOR THOUGHT

There have been many cases where people were told to “feel free and speak,” yet later hunted down for the very words they shared. Freedom of speech is one thing; wisdom in speech is another.

It’s important to remember that we’re speaking to humans; limited in understanding and quick to hold on to words. With God, our lapses and careless utterances can be forgiven when we repent. But with people, even words spoken innocently can be stored in their hearts and used against us. So yes, speak; but season your words with wisdom.✨

How you say what you say matters even if you are asked to speak freely. Thank you.
