THE STRENGTH OF THE SOFT ONES

There is something deeply misunderstood about kindness.

Many people mistake it for weakness. They think being soft, gentle, forgiving, or generous means you can be pushed around or taken for granted.

However, I’ve come to understand that it takes extraordinary strength to remain kind in an unkind world.

Have you ever wondered why good people get hurt the most?

Because good people often don’t draw the line. We keep giving. We see the best in others. We excuse behavior, rationalize red flags, and try to hold space even when we are breaking inside. We want to heal, not hurt, and sometimes, we forget that protecting our peace is not selfish; it is sacred.

I have learnt this the hard way, and maybe you have too.

The beauty in this is that once you start setting healthy boundaries, you begin to live in the freedom GOD intended for you. You are not cold or hard-hearted, you are wise. You are still kind, still soft, still full of light; but now, your kindness has a backbone.😊

To the soft ones, the gentle warriors, the quiet givers: you are not weak. You are powerful beyond measure. You are the healing balm the world does not know it needs.

Just remember, even the ocean has a shore. Even light has limits. You can be full of grace and still protect your space.

This is your reminder today, that your softness is not your flaw. It is your power.

With love,

Chinemerem❤️
