HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A SHOOTING π STAR
It was in 2022, during one of those peaceful early morning runs with my husband, just before dawn, around 5am. The world was quiet, wrapped in that stillness only the early hours can bring. As we jogged, I happened to lift my eyes to the sky, and there it was, a shooting star, streaking across the heavens.
It was my very first time seeing one.
In that fleeting, magical moment, I remembered what we used to hear as children: “When you see a shooting star, make a wish.” So I did. Not just one, but two heartfelt wishes, whispered in awe before the light disappeared.
And guess what? They both came true.
The first wish was answered in less than a month. The second followed within six months. Both were deep, impossible needs, miracle-level things only God could do. I had hoped they would happen before our 10th wedding anniversary in 2023, but I honestly didn’t know how. Nothing around me looked like it. There were no signs, no hints. Just a quiet hope, and a shooting star.
But it happened. Against all odds, it happened.
Do I believe in shooting stars? I believe in what they stir in us. For me, that star was not just a light in the sky, it was a reminder that Heaven listens. That sometimes, in the most unexpected ways, we are seen. We are heard. And we are answered.
Have you ever seen a shooting star?
What did you feel?
Did you make a wish?
I’d love to hear your story.
