BREAKING FREE FROM POVERTY MINDSET

There was a time when I thought poverty was just about the lack of money. But as the years unfolded, I realized poverty begins in the mind long before it shows up in the pocket.

I’ve lived through seasons where I felt “stuck.” Not just financially, but emotionally and mentally. I would pray, hope, and even work hard, yet it felt like something invisible held me back. That “something” was a poverty mindset.

A poverty mindset whispers lies like:

“I’ll never have enough.”

“I’m too old to start over.”

“Wealth is only for a chosen few.”

“It’s too late for me.”

But here’s the truth: God never designed us for lack. His word is clear: “I have come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)

Abundance starts in the mind. It is about believing you are worthy of it. It is about speaking wealth into your world before you see it. It is about releasing every thought that says “I can’t” and embracing the truth: I am created for more. I am allowed to be wealthy. I am open to abundance.

I am still on this journey of renewing my mind, and every day, I choose to:

Speak life over my finances.

Believe that my creativity is a divine gift that can produce wealth.

Open my heart to new opportunities and divine connections.

Declare that I am not bound by family history, age, or environment.

And you, too, can make this choice. Poverty is not your identity. It is just a condition, and conditions change. The more we change our mindset, the more we create room for wealth to flow into our lives.

Let this be your reminder today: You are not poor. You are abundant. You are evolving into the wealth carrier you were born to be.
