SATURDAY TABLE TALK WITH NEMERULEZ- IS LOVE ALL THAT MAKES A RELATIONSHIP/MARRIAGE WORK?

You know, most times, what we call love is not the true love expressed and given to us by GOD through HIS son, JESUS CHRIST, but a selfish emotional feeling.

When we love the GOD KIND of way or we enter relationships and marriages with the intent to love the person the GOD KIND of way, it is already a success. But then, the problem is a lot of people are overlooking the ill treatments they're getting from their partners and are assuming or expecting that they will change when they are married.  That's so wrong! That is playing with fire and expecting it not to burn you; oh it definitely will! You cannot love a pig and expect him or her to be a dove when you're married. 

Learn to discern true love, and some of the ways you will know if you're in the right relationship is if the person is patient, does not lie or talk ill about others or even their past relationships, gives you a sense of security, treats you with love and respect, is not egocentric,  has a right attitude, behaviour, above all loves GOD. If your partners don't have these, I'm sorry, you're headed for a ship wreck. His or her "love" alone cannot guarantee you a peaceful and happy relationship, but the GOD KIND of love will.

Truth is, a lot of relationships and marriages that did not work out were long dead even before they started. Please drop your comments.

The enemy has one goal; for you to change the way you're talking. The tongue is a creative force!  A few years ago, I literally was magneting good things, especially people of like minds, money, material things. Everyday favour was my lifestyle. I had a stubborn faith, it annoyed a lot of people, because they felt I was not being realistic, yet everyday brought even better favours. I got a job I didn't apply for;  a very good one!  B ut you see, when your faith is not being sharpened, even though you think you're standing, you'll wake up one day and realise you've hit the rock bottom! Guard your heart and space with all diligence! No matter who the person is, if they are not speaking your faith language, do not make room for them to feel comfortable with their faithless opinions and ideologies. If the church you attend doesn't stir your faith or belief, LEAVE!  Protect your faith journey by living daily on GODS' word and NEVER budge! THE WORD OF GOD WORKS! #
