Humility, defined as the quality of being modest, is a key trait that can significantly improve our relationships, career prospects and overall well-being.

Humility is not a negative quality as some people in the world today perceive, but it's actually associated with improved cognitive functioning and higher levels of cooperation, team work and helping behaviour.

You don't need to be religious to be humble. Humility is not being shy or quiet or self-effacing. You can be humble without being humiliated or self critical.

Humility can make you genuinely want to listen to others and offer solution(s).

Being humble is not at odds with being proud; it simply means you can acknowledge your accomplishments, while also acknowledge your debt to others who helped you along the way. READ THE LAST LINE AGAIN!
