The great people of the world- that is, those who have "arrived"- are not very different from you, or me, or the rest of us- all of us are about the same at the base. You have only to meet  them to see how very much"ordinary" they are, after all. But, don't forget the fact that they know how to use the material that is in them; while the rest of the crowd does not, and, in fact, even  doubts whether the true stuff is there. 

Most of us have never really taken the time to visit within ourselves long enough to discover our own truths, much less live by them. And if we were to do so, those truths may frighten or worry us, for there is a good chance that the truths we have adopted from our exposure to outward things- the ones most of us have come to depend on for security, assurance, confidence, and comfort- are really not valid at all. We might instead discover that the truths within us are much more compassionate, kind, caring, forgiving, understanding, loving, and purposeful. For instance, many of us who have been hurt by others in the past, have put up walls to prevent others from getting close to us and to keep us safe. And while we may believe we are safe, the truth is quite the opposite: our isolation actually increases our hurt, sadness, loneliness, misery, and suffering.  There is an inmost center in us all. We all can create positive contributions in the world and make a difference in the lives of those around us, even if we do not always receive recognition or positive responses. As long as we shine forth the healing and wholesome light from within--compassion, love, kindness, mercy, empathy, forgiveness, gratitude, joy--and allow that light to rest upon ourselves as well, we will find that our days are much brighter and more fulfilling.  Even if our contribution is but a single candle flame, the light of the world relies upon each and every single candle, and no candle is worth less than any other is.  When we seek only to bring happiness to ourselves, we often find that it is fleeting and eludes our grasp; yet when we seek to bring it to others, it finds us and becomes a permanent residence in our lives.

Why should anything be too good for you? Did you ever stop to think just what you are? You are a manifestation of the Whole Thing, and have a perfect right to all there is. Or, if you prefer it this way, you are a child of the Infinite, and are heir to it all. You are telling the truth in either statement, or both. At any rate, no matter what you ask, you are merely demanding your  own. And the more in earnest you are about demanding it - the more confident you are of receiving it! Think about this truth! Nothing is too good for you! 

I am a firm believer of true friendship; and there are still friends that stick closer than brothers. Still, some friends back down because of so many reasons. I found out that there are so many factors that contribute to their uncertain behaviours; and here are some: Because you have a great personality and as such they cannot meet up with your standard. You play by a different set of rules and as such they cannot and will never understand you.  The person you are trying to let in to your life does not deserve to be your friend. You have better friendship with someone other than them. Such friend(s) always claim to be right and always force their opinions on you. Their pasts have a strong hold on them. You have a stronger family background than they. You took them as friends more than they took you. You deserve better friends of like minds. Listen friend, you must love yourself and appreciate yourself; this is the only way remain a winne
