ENCOURAGE THE SPEAK UP CULTURE.

Success in parenting must include raising a child(ren) who would never be the bully, never be the bullied and never stay a silent observer when another child is being bullied——and from experience, children who stand up for others are hardly targeted.

The ability to speak up helps kids manage their emotions, cope with conflict in a healthy way, and seek help when they need it.

When someone knows that their voice will be heard and taken seriously, it gives them the courage to speak up when something isn’t right.

So, let us endeavour to create the right environment in our homes to raise confident children——children who speak up; who say something when they see something and feel like saying what they saw.
