WHEN LAST DID YOU REWARD YOUR CHILD'S GOOD BEHAVIOUR?

Image
While punishment is the centerpiece of discipline, yet parents tend to overlook their children’s best behaviours. Rewarding good deeds targets behaviors you want to develop in your child, not things he shouldn't be doing. This does not mean you should give your child a pound of chocolate every time he picks up a paperclip. You will get a lot more positive reinforcement than negative reinforcement when you reward your children. You can say something like ‘good job. I’m really glad you did that,’ when your child cleans his room or behaves very well.' And there are times when your child does something extraordinary that may warrant a larger reward. Start rewarding your child(ren)'s good behaviour and you will be doing them a great thing as you watch your children grow with good self esteem.

IN HONOUR OF WOMEN!

Image
Hello Dear women in the house and all over the world! I celebrate you all. I saw this article and I thought I could share it to inspire you and to wish you all a Merry Christmas! In honor of women! They smile when they want to scream. They sing when they want to cry. They cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous. They fight for what they believe in. They stand up for injustice. They don’t take “no” for an answer when they believe there is a better solution. They go without new shoes so their children can have them. They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.         They love unconditionally.         They cry when their children excel and cheer when their friends get awards.         They are happy when they hear about a birth or a new marriage. They are strong when they think there is no strength left. They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart. Women come in all sizes, in all colors and shapes.

....THE RIGHT KNOWLEDGE.

Image
Have you ever bought a car and then it suddenly seemed like there were many of the same cars on the road? It is not that everyone else decided to buy the same car at the same time as you. The cars have always been there, but your mind has now been primed to notice them. So it is with opportunity and progress. If your mind is primed with the right knowledge, you will be able to recognise opportunities and take advantage of them when others can’t see them. In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson: “Progress is the activity of today and the assurance of tomorrow.” What you do today will prepare you for a better tomorrow. You are all you can be. Go on and be it.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Image
There is no substitute for taking full responsibility for our own actions, words, and deeds. And the more we do so, the more we begin to see how "what we say and do comes back to us" and the easier it becomes to make the right decisions when we are faced with them.

REFLECTION

Image
Our history is a part of us, and always will be. But when we attempt to spend our present moments in the past, we relegate ourselves to mere bystanders. Live fully in the here and now. Remember that who you are in life, and who you are becoming, depends entirely on how you use the experiences that you have gained from your past. Did you learn and grow from them, allowing them to expand your horizons and better yourself?
