It is unsafe to assume that a partner knows the others thoughts and needs and vice versa. Ask, and do not assume. Then pay close attention and listen to what is being said. Don't just hear. THE SELF-CONTROLLED "MAN"

How many people we know who have soured their lives, good friendships and relationships, who have ruined all that is sweet and beautiful by explosive tempers, who have destroyed their poise of character, and made bad blood!  It is a question of whether the great majority of people do not ruin their lives and mar their happiness by lack of self-control. Only few people we meet in life are well-balanced and have that exquisite poise which is characteristic of the finished character!  Most times, we don't need to prove any point to anybody, which most times lead to ego and destruction. Only the wise man, only he whose thoughts are controlled and purified  makes the winds and storms of the soul/life obey him! Let's be wise then!

Too much salt can cause high blood pressure, and as such increase the risk of developing coronary heart disease. Watch your diet. Try to have a balanced diet. Each fresh fruits and vegetables, starch foods such as wholegrain bread and rice. Monitor your Bp, blood sugar and cholesterol level. Routine medical check-ups will ring an alarm, if you need medical help. Laughter is the best therapy. Laughter, anytime will work wonders for you. It instantly relieves pressure, and will make you feel light too. Cut back on foods that contain partially hydrogenated vegetable oils to reduce trans fat in your diet. Love and gratitude can part seas... It can move mountains and it can create miracles. The power of love and gratitude will dissolve all negativity in our lives no matter what the form has taken. Many people who order their lives rightly in all other ways are kept in poverty by their lack of gratitude.

There are so many opinions, "good opinions" of people that if you welcome it, will destroy you. Be careful when you listen to what seems to be working for people. Your life and destiny is different from the next person. For example, you see your friends or colleagues jumping into several businesses and they are succeeding, and you jump into the same business without finding out from GOD if that it what HE wants you to do, yet you wonder why theirs is thriving and yours isn't! Ask GOD to reveal HIS purpose for you, and not people's opinion or what they feel you can do. It all lies within you. Refuse to be overwhelmed by the whole bandwagon effects.

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!

There are many small steps to this one action. It involves maintaining your personal grooming by bathing regularly, brushing and flossing your teeth, and eating tasty and healthy food. It also means making time for yourself, even when you are very busy and when others monopolize much of your time. It may not seem this way, but when you take care of your basic needs, you are telling yourself you deserve the time and attention it takes to practice self care. Learn to believe in yourself. You don't have to look like Brad Pitt or Jennifer Lopez to start building your self confidence. All you need is to take care of yourself and always tell yourself that you're worth caring about. This way you will start developing some level of good confidence.

WHY YOU MUST ELIMINATE EVERY REMINDER OF YOUR NEGATIVITY!

Avoid spending time around things that can make you feel bad about yourself again. These might be reminders from the past, places that don’t fit with your new goals of gaining confidence, friends that have refused to see the positive changes in you, or even clothes that no longer fit.  You can and are able to get rid of every negative source in your life. Yes, it is very possible! And this will go a long way in helping to build your self-confidence. Take the time to write down all the things you know that are contributing to your negativity, literally eliminate them one after another, see yourself releasing yourself from them, could be mean friends, an unbearable relationship, a career that isn't your calling etc. Let it all go.. What is life if you can't enjoy peace of mind and happiness? Every human being deserves a good life and a good living! Don't you ever forget that!

DISCERN WHO YOU MUST HELP!

At some point in our lives, the majority of us need healing- spiritual healing, emotional healing and mental healing. Experience has thought me that you can never help someone who has drowned himself/herself in their own shattered perspectives, you know, trying to play the role of a healer". That is not your role!  I remember rendering a kind assistance to someone who was deeply in need,(I guess I was just being a "busy body") but the person started putting up a mean attitude towards me for whatever reasons known to her. I ignored her, as I was grateful for the privilege. Well, my point is, as much as each and every one of us is here on earth to solve needs, the truth is, you MUST always ask GOD to bring the right people to whom you are to help! There are people GOD has assigned you to help, not just anyone! Remember, wisdom is profitable to direct! Learn to discern who genuinely needs to be helped.

SEEK TO HELP OTHERS"

When you know you are kind to the people around you, and are making a positive difference in other people's lives (even if it's just being kinder to the person who opens the gate for you everyday), you will know that you are a positive force in the world and your good deeds will be rewarded by GOD! Find a way to make helping others a part of your weekly routine, no matter how small. The act of helping will not only benefit others, but it will glorify GOD and bring life to your purpose! You don't have to help someone in your community to feel the benefits of helping others. Sometimes, someone close to you, such as your mother or your best friend, will need your help as much as anyone.

Resolve to remain as strong, as determined, and as highly enthused during the darkest night of adversity as you are and will be during the sunniest day of prosperity. Do not feel disappointed when things seem disappointing, even though sometimes as humans we get uncomfortable with our situations, but quickly snap out of it and remind yourself whose child you are! Keep your eyes focused on the same brilliant future regardless of circumstances, conditions, or events. All these depend on the kind of relationship you have with your children.  I remember as a little girl, whenever I did something that may not necessarily be wrong, My mom would call me and say, "don't worry, tell me the truth" but before I could finish telling her exactly what happened, I would have received the worst beatings of my life. Because of my parents constant punishments even before hearing me out, I never opened up to them as an adolescent. Ever! Learn to build and strengthen your relationship with your kids.
