WANT TO KNOW WHY PEOPLE ARE DEFENSIVE?

I Some people are defensive because they have a lot of feelings to deal with. They might feel like the world is against them, and they need to protect themselves from those feelings. There's also the possibility that they have experienced some kind of trauma, and now they're trying to protect themselves from any more pain.

When you stop talking to people, stop talking about them too. What others think of you has nothing to do with who you are. Time always exposes what you mean to someone. Stop being okay with everything. You deserve to be treated right. You're in contol of your story. And if you don't like the plot, you can rewrite a new one. Don't get lost in comparing yourself to other people. You're valuable and no one can take that away. The person you're becoming will cost you people, relationships, places and things. Choose that person rightly, so that you don't be the "hindrance" to yourself or your own enemy.  Maturity is peacefully disagreeing without thinking the other person is terrible or believing all of their other views must be wrong too.

Thought to share this; makes a lot of sense—uncommon social rules: When playing games with children, let them win. Compliment the meal when you're a guest in someone's home. When someone treats you to lunch or dinner, don't order the most expensive dish in the menu. Also, treat them the next time. Step outside to answer phone calls. If someone shows you a photo on their phone, don't swipe left or right. If they want to show what's next, they'll do it. If someone lends you their car, don't return the car empty.

THE BEST WAY TO DEAL WITH TOXIC PEOPLE.

It is important to know that toxic people are not your fault. They are not going to suddenly wake up and decide to stop being toxic. The best way to deal with toxic people is to keep your emotions in check, and make sure you don't take things personally.  When you're dealing with a toxic person, know that: Toxic people often want to make you angry, so don't give them the chance to put you in that state. You know better than to allow the unkind treatment of a toxic person make you unkind. Don't let them get away with undermining you—you deserve better than that. So, find a better way to pass your message across and leave that space as quickly as possible. Keep your boundaries clear! Know that most of the time, a toxic person acts out of desperation, frustration which is always their best option, because they feel there's no other choice. Try not to take it personally, and move on.
