BIG GAME.....DREAMING IS DARING

Go farther than you see. Don't just look at the present. Think unthinkable thoughts, see where no one is looking and take corresponding action before it's obvious.

Wayne Gretsky is arguably the greatest hockey player in history. Asked about his secret for continuing to lead the national hockey league in goals year after year, Wayne replied " I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been"

Isak Dineson said, "God made the world round so that we would never be able to see too far down the road" As your plans unfold and you move in the right direction, choose not to be limited by what you see, move further because there is always something better few kilometres ahead of you.

Significant achievements have never been obtained by taking small risks on unimportant issues. "If you are hunting rabbits in tiger country, you must keep your eye peeled for tiger, but when you are hunting tiger, you can ignore the rabbits...(Henry Stern). Don't be distracted by rabbits, keep your focus on the big game.

You have reached stagnation when all you ever exercise is caution. Too many people expect little, ask for little, receive little, and are satisfied with little because they simply do not want to dare boldly against the norm. This is not a call for accumulation of resources born out of greed and self-gratification, but a call to stretch you beyond the usual because you can achieve more when you try and take some un-harmful controllable risks...

Having a dream is not trying to believe something regardless of evidence; dreaming is daring to do something regardless of the consequences.

Let your faith run ahead of your mind.
