WHY HE NEEDS TO SPEND QUALITY TIME WITH HIS FAMILY

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT

I have heard a lot of women talk about their husbands, and it is only few that have said really nice things about their husbands. While this has been a deep concern to me, I did a little research about why these women do not feel happy and satisfied with their husbands. Most of them talked about how busy their husbands are which is the reason why they spend little or no time at all with their families. And as such, a big gap is created in the relationship between the man and his wife and his children which causes disunity, constant misunderstanding between the man and his wife and generally creating an unhealthy relationship. 

There is an adage which says, where your heart is, there lies your treasure. So no matter how busy a man is, he will always create time for his family, if he really cares about them and anything short of that is a mere excuse. The man needs to understand that his wife needs his undivided attention from time to time. He can strengthen both his marriage and his bond with his children by spending quality time with his family. A lot of men have left the responsibility of teaching the children core values for the woman alone, but this was not so from the beginning. When you sow the right seed into your home, you will surely reap the best thereof. 

Spending quality time with your family will help you bond with your wife and children, reduce unnecessary squabbles, keep you together as a family even during challenging times, helps you partake in the growing up of your children, and above it attracts a huge blessing to you because your prayers are not hindered. From my findings, There are a lot of activities you can engage in when you spend quality time with your family. Here are a few of them:

Eating together

Having a "me time" with your wife

Having family meetings

Playing games together- it could be indoor or out door.

Helping the children with their home works

Talking to your children and finding out their needs.

Attending religious activities

Taking a walk together and having fun together.  

I pray that GOD will continue to increase the men with wisdom and understanding on how to treat their families right.
