YOUR MINDSET AND BELIEF

The words mindset and belief are often used interchangeably. However, they are two different things that can coexist together in a person's life.

Mindset is your general outlook on life and how you approach challenges. Beliefs are the specific thoughts you have about yourself, your life, and the world around you. Your mindset is like a general pattern  how you think about things: your beliefs are like  specific examples of those thoughts.

Thinking about the things you believe can help you identify your mindset and make sure it is in alignment with what you want to accomplish.

The first step is to identify the beliefs that are holding you back or keeping you from achieving your goals. This can be tough but it is important! When we are stuck in a mindset- even one that seems right at the time- it is often because we don't know how to identify our own beliefs, or how they might be affecting us.

The next thing to do is look at the beliefs that are helping you reach your goals. Are there any beliefs that are preventing you from taking actions? If so, can you identify them?

Once you've identified some of your strongest beliefs, start working on changing them! It is important to remember that while they may seem like they are helping you now, they might actually be causing problems for you down the road!
